NCC students take home the gold and silver at the 2015 ADDY awards

NCC Communication Design students, and their faculty enjoyed a great evening of socializing and networking as well as winning recognition for their creative design work at the 2015 American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards event on March 6^th. The ADDYs are to advertising what the OSCAR’s are to the movies and are sponsored by the Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club.

Three professional in the communication field from Pittsburg, PA were judges for the competition and they selected 8 ADDY awards for NCC students, a greater number than any other colleges that submitted work to the competition. The students and their awards are listed below –

2 Gold ADDY Awards

Dave Meyers, Sean Tierney, Lucas Shuck, Kenny Colodonato  – Projection Mapping On Race Car Project, – Professor Jason Zulli.

Kenny Colodonato – Type Specimen Booklet design- Adjunct Instructor Traci Anfuso-Young.

6 Silver ADDY Awards

Tracy Laurie-Lakhram – Design of Vintage Craftsmanship Book. – Adjunct Instructor Traci Anfuso-Young

The students were accompanied by their instructors, Traci Anfuso-Young, Gayle Hendricks, Dannell MacIlwraith, and Jason Zulli, as well as Tom Shillea Director of Art Programs and Dr.Christine Pense, Dean of the division of Humanities and Social Sciences. As you can see by the photos showing the students with their awards, everyone had a smashing great time.
