NCC Theatre Department presents Spring 2019 plays

NCC’s Theatre Department has announced its three spring plays:
 
  • Sister Mary Ignatius Explains it All for You & An Actor’s Nightmare – Christopher Durang’s humorous take on Catholic school with a fun companion piece, directed by Kate Egging in the Lab Theatre. Presented Friday, Feb. 15 – Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday,
    Feb. 18 at 3 p.m.

  • Detroit – the dark comedic consequences when new neighbors meet, by Lisa D’Amour with direction by Clair M. Freeman in Lipkin Theatre. Thursday, Feb. 28 – Saturday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m.; and Monday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m.

  • Hand to God – see what can go wrong in a Christian Puppet Ministry; Robert Askins’ hilarious black comedy, directed by Bill Mutimer in the Lab Theatre. Thursday, April 11 – Saturday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m.

 
Admission for all shows is free for anyone presenting a valid NCC ID and making a donation of a non-perishable food item to the Hope Pantry for NCC students, administered by the nursing program. Admission for all others is $5. Ticket and show information is available at ncctix.org.
