Letter from the editor:

I am proud to announce the launch of our dynamic new Commuter website.

Keeping pace with the best practices in website design, we’ve undergone a facelift that complements the changes occurring in the Journalism program at NCC.

Our new design includes a greater  variety of subtopics for our readers to access more easily.

Our calendar provides  a more organized and neat display to publicize campus events.

A clean and modern slider enables us to showcase multiple articles at a time.

Our redesign allows us to connect  our readers with content through social media.

And our cleaner, easy-to-navigate site makes online advertising a more attractive investment.
It has been an honor to collaborate over the past year with freelance web designer and NCC graduate Chris Koelle, who studied many of America’s top news websites in creating The Commuter’s innovative look. Working with Chris and Adam Soltys, The Commuter graphic designer, I have gained friendships and partnerships that will last a lifetime.

What you see is just the start. Over time, our website will evolve with daily updates, more online readers and even a staff page addition.

The next generation of Journalism is here, and The Commuter is proud to reflect this change on our campus. Check us out at ncccommuter.org and pick up our monthly print issues, which can be found on stands around campus.

In honor of our new look we released an infographic video, posted below:

Thank you everyone for your support.  We hope you like what you see!
