NCC Now Online

A message from Northampton Community College president:

Dear Students,
In consultation with our senior leadership team and with guidance from public health experts, we have made the decision to extend remote learning for students through the remainder of the spring semester. Online instruction will begin on Monday, March 23 and continue through the completion of final exams in May. While we were optimistic that at some point we would be able to resume in-person classes this spring semester, given the rapidly changing news around COVID-19, this will not happen.
We are taking these extraordinary steps in an effort to protect the health of our community and aid the ongoing efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19.
We understand that this will present challenges for some of you, but please know we are hard at work to ensure that you will be able to reach your educational goals this spring semester. We want you to succeed and are committed to making that happen! Even if you are uncomfortable with on-line instruction, I encourage you to try it.
It is important that you stay connected. Check your e-mail frequently for updates from your instructors and the college, and check the coronavirus page on our website for resources and tools to help you finish the semester strong.
The nation, and the world, are facing an extraordinary challenge. We believe that it is precisely during such challenging times that we often see the best of each other. We are proud of the entire NCC family for rising to the occasion with strength, compassion, and resiliency.
Stay safe,

Dr. Mark Erickson

President, Northampton Community College
